I've always enjoyed wrapping presents. Ok maybe not so much when I'm wrapping tons of them in a short period of time, but to me it's just another way of expressing my style.
Whether I'm using traditional gift wrap, gifts bags with tissue paper,
or wrapping something in newspaper, I try to do it in a way that's
special and unique. One of my favorite things that I've discovered
recently is the Washi Paper Masking Tape at the MoMA Store. This beautiful little set comes with 10 different shades of tape made of washi, a handmade Japanese paper. Instead of being an eyesore or hidden underneath ribbon, this tape becomes part of the decoration. And with the variety of colors, you can get really creative. Functional and beautiful, what's better than that?
