Almost two weeks ago, I was actually excited to come home to cold, snowy NYC after a fabulous trip to Aruba. Why? Because I was getting back just in time to celebrate two very important birthdays...one, the gorgeous Ronnie Kroell from Bravo TV's "Make Me a Supermodel" and the other, his equally lovely manager, Whitney Mallon. Ronnie and Whitney not only know how to throw an amazing party, but they are both very special friends to me...
Held at the spectacular new hotspot Juliet Supper Club on far West 21st Street, we were treated to a fantastic night. Juliet was the perfect spot to host the party, with its intimate private room, beautiful black-tiled walls and floor (it's really like being right inside your very own massive disco ball!) and gracious host. Generously sponsored by our favorite Chelsea 24-hour spot Cafeteria (who provided the tower of decadent red velvet cupcakes...) and Moet Champagne and Belvedere Vodka (allowing us to sip one of two signature cocktails...the "Whitney," a champagne and crushed strawberry delight...and the "Ronnie," a refreshing - but powerful! - vodka, lemonade and fresh blueberry number...), this was a night to remember.
Joined by nearly 100 guests, including fashion- and entertainment-industry insiders like designers (and Project Runway alums) Suede and Malan Breton, as well as "The Real Housewives of New York City" featured guest and host of "Derek Loves Shopping" Derek Warburton, Ronnie & Whitney certainly celebrated in style. And most importantly, none of us forgot why we were there...to wish two incredible, talented people a happy birthday...
