In honor of the upcoming Cinco de Mayo (really, in the New York area it should be called Excuse-To-Go-Out-And-Drink-Tequila Day...!), I thought I would post this super cute hors d'oeuvre idea. Great for any summer outdoor party or wedding, these are pleasing to the eyes (mini things are so cute!) and a sure fire crowd pleaser!
Once I saw these, I started thinking, what else should be on the list for "2012 Must Have Passed Hors D'oeuvres"? If you're next event included any of the following yummy treats, they would be the hit of the party! A lot of these ideas don't have to be reserved for a formal party...dinner parties, kids' sleepovers, business functions...they are great for whatever you have planned and for every age group!
Grilled cheese and tomato soup shooters
Pretty salad cups (This one is easy!)
Colorful soup shooters
Mac 'n Cheese cups
French fry baskets or cones
And my personal favorite...mini passed pancake stacks! Why not have breakfast at dinnertime?!
Don't forget that presentation is everything...for a party at home, instead of doing a table of veggie rounds, display your veggies in clear, modern vases of varying heights and shapes. I love how this looks and so will your guests! Serve your dip of choice in a martini glass, it takes your plain old veggies from typical to fabulous!
