Michelle Jack, Managing Beauty Editor, Stylewhipped.com
There were three major events that have shaped Michelle's interest (or unhealthy and expensive obsession, actually) in beauty. In the late 70's, Michelle crashed her mother's Mary Kay party and has been a makeup junkie ever since. As a child, she was often in trouble for "experimenting" with her mother's makeup and later was frequently grounded for sneaking eyeliner in the sixth grade. In junior high there was acne. SO MUCH acne, which led to a very disciplined skin care regimen and finally, of course, the horrid and awkward preteen years, where her formerly straight and shiny hair suddenly became coarse and curly which launched the beginning of a lifelong quest to find the perfect hair products, styles, tools and care regimen. She has endured 80's hairstyles, 90's eyebrows, all the wrong colors of everything and has lived to tell about it.
